Nairobi City
Nairobi is Africa’s 4th largest city and is a vibrant and exciting place and although it has developed a reputation which keeps tourist visits brief there are some fascinating attractions: its café culture, unbridled nightlife, the National Museum, the Karen Blixen Museum and most notably just 20 minutes from the city centre wild lions and buffalo roam in the world’s only urban game reserve.

InterContinental Nairobi has for years been an oasis of comfort for business travellers as well as those who want to experience the wonders of Africa. Day 2: Amboseli Sopa Lodge, Amboseli National Park
Amboseli National Park
The landscape of Amboseli is dominated by the snow cap of Mount Kilimanjaro, open plains, acacia woodland, swamps and the massif of Ol Doinyo Orok. Renowned for its excellent Masaai giraffe, elephant, lion and cheetah viewing and not surprisingly it is one of Kenya most popular parks. The birding is excellent especially near the lakes and swamps.
The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species. Other attraction of the park includes opportunities to meet the Maasai people and also offers spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world.
Day Itinerary
0730 hrs: Pick up from Nairobi hotel/Nairobi airport
Depart for the Amboseli national park.
The drive is via the Nairobi -Mombasa highway and through Masai country as you head to amboseli which lies at the floors of the Mount Kilimanjaro.
Arrive Amboseli in the mid-morning.
Afternoon shall be spent on game viewing drives in search of elephant, cheetah, lion and other plains game. The Mount Kilimanjaro in its majesty shall provide the most natural background for wildlife photography.

Day 3: Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge, Lake Nakuru National Park
Lake Nakuru National Park
Lake Nakuru National Park was created to protect the Lake and its flocks of Lesser Flamingo which are drawn to the algae that flourishes in the saline waters of the soda lake. The national park is home to hippos, black and white rhino, Rothschild giraffe, buffalo and eland.
Day Itinerary
Early morning game and scenery viewing drive .
Later proceed to the Lake Nakuru National park with a descent to the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at the Lake Nakuru National park in the mid – afternoon
he Lake Nakuru national park is the smallest in the class A category Kenya national parks. Birdlife abounds with flamingoes in their thousands together with pelicans and other bird species.
The lake hosts the black and white rhino species, warthogs, lions, zebras, giraffe and many more.

Lake Nakuru National Park was created in 1968 to protect the huge flocks of over of the lesser flamingo that breed and nest at the edge of Lake Nakuru, giving it the characteristic pink rim. Lake Nakuru National Park, located at an altitude of 4,000-5,767 feet above sea level, covers 188 square kilometres of land of great ecological diversity – from lake water, woodland, bush grassland, to rocky ridges. The park is home to not just the lesser flamingo but over 400 species of birds and one of the few places to see the endangered white rhino. Other wildlife at the park includes lions, leopards, zebra, gazelles, eland, giraffe and the hyrax.

Day 4: Hammerkop Migration Camp, Masai Mara National Reserve
Masai Mara National Reserve
The Masai Mara together with Tanzania’s Serengeti form Africa’s most famous wildlife park. The image of acacia trees on an endless grass plain epitomises Africa for many, and then add a Maasai warrior and some cattle to the picture and the conversation need go no further.
The annual wildebeest migration through the Serengeti and the Masai Mara is the largest mass movement of land mammals on the planet – with more than a million animals following the rains. But that is not where the game viewing ends; large prides of lions, elephants and giraffes in grasslands, gazelles and eland to mention but a few. Aside from traditional vehicle safaris, hot-air ballooning over the Mara plains has become almost essential and you can even do a horseback safari.

Proceed to the Masai mara game reserve. Arrive Masai Mara in time for an afternoon game viewing drive
Overnight: Hammerkop Migration Camp
Hammerkop Migration Camp, Maasai Mara is located on the banks of the Mara River just minutes from the main wildebeest crossing points. Hammerkop Migration is a semi-permanent traditional tented safari camp with a total of just 7 tents, making it a very private atmosphere with personalized service. The large mess tent has views over the waterhole and towards the distant escarpment.

Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza!
Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the Natural world. It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region.
The scenic appeal of the tree studded savannah plains, the moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities. We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game.
Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara river as we watch hippos & crocodiles

Depart the Masai Mara for Nairobi to arrive in the late afternoon. Drop off at Jomo Kenyatta Airport for your onward flight
