Trip overview;
Start with Bwindi Impenetrable national park famously, this “impenetrable forest” also protects an estimated 320 mountain gorillas – roughly half of the world’s population and then Volcanoes National Park protects the steep slopes of this magnificent mountain range and is the home of the rare mountain gorilla and the rich mosaic of montane ecosystems, which embrace evergreen and bamboo forest, open grassland, swamp and heath, but the high point will be spending an hour with the remarkably peaceful gorillas despite their size and appearance as they go about their daily life, feeding, playing, resting and raising their young
Full Trip details;
Day 1:- Arrival and hotel transfer.
Arrival at the airport, you will meet and greet with a representative of Prosper safaris who will brief you on your safari and then transfer to your accommodation. Dinner and overnight at Lake Victoria Serena Hotel (HB)
Day 2: Kampala–Bwindi National Park.

DAY 3: The Gorilla Tracking (Can Take Up To A Full Day!)
Today is your day for tracking the Gorilla’s. After an early but very powerful breakfast your driver/guide will bring you to the starting point of your gorilla track. (Packed lunch will be provided). Before you start the real tracking you will gather at the Uganda Wildlife Authority meeting area. Here you will find other people as well who will track with you in the same group. A clear briefing will be given to you on what you can expect during the day as well as safety rules and behavior when you are meeting the gentle giants. After the introduction it is time for you to start searching for the Gorilla’s. Depending on where the Gorilla’s are located we can never tell you how long it will take for you to see them. But please keep in mind that it can be active, adventurous, sometimes a bit difficult but definitely a worth it experience, that can last a full day. Return to the lodge in the afternoon and if time allows you will transfer for a community walk. Dinner and overnight at Clouds Lodge. (FB)
PS: Child will be left under the supervision of the lodge staff with indoor games to play as the parents go for gorilla tracking.
Day 4: Bwindi impenetrable national Park – Rwanda.
After breakfast and depart for Rwanda. You will cross the border via Kisoro then clear at the boarder – Rwanda is 1 hour behind Uganda. Located in the far northwest of Rwanda, the Parc des Volcans is home to the steep slopes of this wonderful mountain range – home of the rare mountain gorilla – and the rich mosaic of montane ecosystems, which cuddles evergreen and bamboo forest, open grassland, swamp and heath. Day 5: Volcanoes National Park (Gorilla Trek) – Ibyi Iwacu village cultural experience
Early breakfast at the lodge then proceed to the park headquarters in time for Gorilla Trek briefing. We will then transfer you to the start point of your guided walk that begins at 08h00. Here, your amazing adventure begins. Volcanoes National Park protects the steep slopes of this magnificent mountain range and is the home of the rare mountain gorilla and the rich mosaic of montane ecosystems, which embrace evergreen and bamboo forest, open grassland, swamp and heath, but the high point will be spending an hour with the remarkably peaceful gorillas despite their size and appearance as they go about their daily life, feeding, playing, resting and raising their young.
After this memorable experience, you will return to the lodge in time for lunch.

This afternoon you will visit the Ibyi Iwacu village for a cultural experience.
Ibyi Iwacu is changing the traditional perception of what constitutes tourism by turning fate into fame through sharing various aspects of rural cultures and livelihoods into tourist attractions and creating income-generating activities for rural poor people that have reformed from living on bush meat and poaching for generations. Return to the Lodge for overnight. Mountain Gorilla View Lodge (FB).
Day 6: Volcanoes National park – Departure.
After your morning breakfast you will to Kigali, you visit some craft shops and buy for yourself a souvenir. Continue to the airport for your flight and say farewell to Rwanda.

Gorilla permit note: Once permit is bought, it cannot be refunded or inter-changed. Before confirming the tour, please ensure that you request for availability of permits based on the number of participants because there are only 80 permits issued per day.
Passenger Information:-
– In case of non-availability, we may have to reroute and provide alternative accommodation at lodges of similar category.
– Passengers should bring only soft sided bags on safaris as our vehicles have limited luggage space
– All the passengers must have Identification Card/Passport with them throughout their travel.
TERMS OF CANCELLATION
The parties involved shall agree the specific terms of cancellation on each case.
Under the Rwanda Legislation, the Hotels and Caterers can legally levy the following cancellation charges:-
60-46 days prior to arrival: No charge, room release
45-14 days prior to arrival: 10%
14-07 days prior to arrival: 25%
07-03 days prior to arrival: 50%
03 days-to no show : 100%
FORCE MAJEUR CIRCUMSTANCES
In case either party suffers force majeure circumstances (that are unforeseen, inevitable and uncontrollable), such as strikes, closing of frontiers, ports and airports, bad weather, delays in departures and arrivals of the means of transportation, accidents and all services provided by a third Party, as a result of which the obligations under the present agreement cannot be fulfilled the parties shall be exonerated from their obligations without having to pay compensation for the damage caused to the other party.
